116th Hallinglag Stevne

Please join us for the 116th Hallinglag Stevne, as we celebrate our Hallingdal roots and the 200th anniversary of those first emigrants who left Norway to come to a new home in the New World, looking for a better life.

Reservations for rooms at the Sheraton in Sioux Falls at the group rate of $129 plus tax per night can be made by calling (605)331-0100. This rate is in effect until June 24, 2025.

The general schedule is:
— Thursday registration, meet and greet, programs begin
— Friday speakers, evening bunad parade and banquet
— Saturday morning business meeting, event closing Saturday afternoon

Genealogy room, silent action and coffee break treats will be available throughout the meeting. Please consider donating treats and items for the silent auction.
