Come celebrate with us at the SCCT Open House—a full day of community, creativity, and connection! Explore the theatre, meet local artists, and learn how to get involved with Sioux City’s vibrant performing arts scene.
⏰ Daytime Activities: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🍔 Outdoor Fun:
Local food trucks (no vendor fee—just some social media love!)
Yard games like cornhole, giant Jenga, and ring toss
🛍️ Crafts Fair on the Mezzanine (11AM-5PM):
Local artists and vendors selling handcrafted items
SCCT-branded merchandise and a silent auction full of special items and experiences
🎟️ Theatre Tours & Info Booths (11AM-5PM):
Backstage tours of SCCT
Learn about our MainStage, Blackbox, and Youth Theatre programs
Get info on classes, shows, and how you can be part of the fun.
🎭 Theatre Games & Mini Workshops (11AM-5PM):
Improv sessions and theatre activities for kids and families
🎀 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5:00 PM
Wrap up the day with an official celebration as we look toward SCCT’s future!
🍷 Evening Festivities (18+):
6:30 PM – Social Hour with drinks and mingling
7:30 PM – Evening Cabaret featuring live performances from local community talent and final silent auction bidding
