Young Entrepreneurs (Session A)

Summer is coming! Are you interested in having your child enrich their academic skills in a fun, interactive, and creative way?

Students will learn to think and perform like professionals. They will engage in round-table discussions and visionary planning with like-minded peers and hone their writing, presentation, budgeting, executive functioning, and collaboration skills. By the end of this course, they will have a completed and tested business plan.

The Young Entrepreneurs course will be collaboratively taught by two educators and accommodations will be provided for students as needed. This program is limited to a maximum of 16 students in order to provide the most beneficial experience possible. (Maximum student:teacher ratio will be 8:1.)

Age Group

For students entering grades 6-8 in the 2025-2026 school year.

Session Dates & Times

Session A: June 23, 2025 - July 3, 2025 (*no class on 7/4)

Session B: July 7, 2025 - July 18, 2025

12:30 pm - 3:30 pm Daily

Course Tuition:

Session A: $685 per student for full program

Session B: $750 per student for full program

• This is a two-week program. Weeks may not be purchased individually.

Course materials will be pushed out via Google Classroom, but hard copies will also be offered to those without access. Personal devices are optional, though recommended. Students will need a Gmail account in order to access digital versions of the materials. Please note that MCPS student accounts will not work, as they do not allow for the receipt of external materials.

Other suggested supplies include: calculator (other than a phone), 1/4in binder with looseleaf paper, pens/pencils
