Jason Hannan is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Frederick, Maryland. His songs have been featured on bluegrass and independent country stations nationwide. His musical partnership with his wife, Michelle Hannan, has resulted in the release of several singles and albums, including their critically acclaimed 2021 concept album Cheater’s Waltz.
Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in the small town of Grenada, on the edge of the Mississippi delta, Jason grew up to the sounds of traditional country music and the delta blues. As the son of country singer/songwriter Hal Windham - who was influential in the Gulf Coast music scene in the 1970’s - Jason’s love for roots music runs deep.
