We’ll begin with a practical session exploring how you breathe day to day. You’ll learn to recognise your own unique breath pattern, notice any areas of dysfunction, and discover simple tools to support better energy, stress relief and sleep.

Helen will then guide you through a powerful breathwork journey with the theme of letting go, honouring the transition from summer to autumn. This practice offers space to release, soften and settle into the change of season.
🌀 Integration & Sharing
We’ll close with time for reflection, integration and optional sharing in a safe and supportive circle.
This event is open to women of all levels and abilities. Our intention is not to change who you are, but to offer you the tools and acceptance to meet yourself exactly where you’re at.

About Your Facilitators
Helen Brown – Helen is an accredited counsellor with the BACP and has completed her Breathwork training with Seven Directions. Being both a counsellor and breathwork facilitator gives her dual expertise. She integrates her counselling skills and knowledge with her breathwork sessions and aftercare support. Her breathwork practice is underpinned by the same ethical guidelines as her counselling work: care, empathic understanding, respect, support, non-judgement, and confidentiality. Helen holds space for participants to bring, feel, and release a range of emotions, and to share their experiences if they wish. She strives to offer inclusivity and embrace diversity, with a special interest in and lived experience of neurodiversity and fatigue illness. The event has been created with accessibility for people with these experiences in mind.
Cat Merrick – Cat is a qualified Buteyko Clinic Method Breathing Instructor, yoga teacher and dance artist. Cat brings personal experience as an asthmatic to her teaching, showing how conscious, functional breath can help transform energy, stress, and wellbeing. She brings over 20 years’ experience as an educator working in schools, colleges and inclusive settings. Her approach focuses on effective, efficient breathing techniques that are practical, accessible, and supportive for all bodies and abilities.
