The Hidden Workshop: An Eclectic Series of Teachings, Discussions, & Practices on Developing Mystical Awareness with Dr. Sam Cannon
A 6-Class Course over 6 Weeks: Tuesdays, June 3rdth through June 24th, and Wednesdays, July 2nd & 9th. 6-8pm.
This workshop series is intended to be an exploration of the Hidden Realms within us, relying on an eclectic gathering of spiritual theories and practices.
An essential ability of a mystic is to connect with their Inner Realms to work with Guides, Angels, Ancestors, or Deities. This series is oriented towards the goal of accessing our Inner Workshop or Sacred Space, so that from this stable foundation, seekers may explore their Astral Environments.
The theories explored in the workshops include magical thinking, Hermetic Kabala, Theurgy, symbolism, Tarot, and occult correspondences. Additionally, the practices of visualization, breath work, esoteric meditation, devotion, divination, invocation, shadow work, and journaling will be important aspects of these workshops.
With these goals, theories, and practices, the Hidden Workshop will meet weekly to discuss and explore new aspects of the development of Inner Awareness and Mystical States of Consciousness in a dialogue with members of the class by responding to questions and inspirations.

Meet your instructor:
Dr. Cannon is a tenured associate professor of language and literature. He is also a practitioner and initiate of the Western Mystery Tradition, a 32º Master Mason, an Associate Builder of the Builders of the Adytum, a student of 22 Teachings: School of Hermetic Sciences & Magical Arts, and an explorer of Tarot, Hermetic Kabbalah, Astrology, Geomancy, and Ceremonial Magic.
