Kids' Nature Journaling (Ages 8-12)

We are so excited to have our first nature journaling classes for the month of June with our instructor Staci Wickard! She has been busy getting ready and is really excited to share her skills.

Nature journaling is the act of keeping a log of observations, questions, and data collected outside. Nature journaling is all about taking the time to look around and connect with the natural world.

How might your child benefit from this activity?
-Enhance your child's observational skills by allowing time outdoors to notice the details - big and small!
-Grow your child's creativity and art skills by allowing them to choose their own way of expressing what they are observing.
-Helps build a connection to nature to foster loving and caring for our world.
