Beginners Introduction to Pilates Course (5 weeks)
Increase body awareness, control and confidence - one week at a time.

This structured 5-week programme introduces you to the essential foundations of Modern Pilates in a supportive group environment. Designed for complete beginners or anyone wanting to revisit the basics, it offers clear guidance and steady weekly progression. Over the five weeks you’ll learn key Pilates exercises, explore safe progressions, awareness of your core, explore coordination, and improve body awareness.

5×60-minute weekly sessions
A clear, step-by-step programme building skills week by week

Weekly overviews and gradual exercise progressions
Weekly recordings for you to rewatch
Focus on key Pilates principles: centring, breathing, control, concentration, precision, integrated isolation, routine and flow

In Each Session You Will:
Practise foundational Pilates exercises with supportive, personalised instruction

Please inform us of injuries or medical conditions. Not suitable for pregnant people or if you've recently given birth.

This course is suitable for people aged 16+ and all body shapes, sizes and fitness levels - no experience needed. However, you will need ability to get up and down from the floor, be able to lay on your back on the floor. Adaptions can be given to those who cannot kneel.

What is Modern Pilates?
Classical Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, whose method “Contrology” focused on precise, structured exercises for both rehabilitation and athletic conditioning. Over time, physiotherapists and movement specialists have evolved these exercises to reflect current clinical understanding of posture, biomechanics, and safe functional movement. Modern Pilates is adaptable, accessible, and suitable for all ages and levels of ability.
