This course is suitable for people aged 16+ and all body shapes, sizes and fitness levels - no experience needed. However, you will need ability to get up and down from the floor, be able to lay on your back on the floor. Adaptions can be given to those who cannot kneel.
What is Modern Pilates?
Classical Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, whose method “Contrology” focused on precise, structured exercises for both rehabilitation and athletic conditioning. Over time, physiotherapists and movement specialists have evolved these exercises to reflect current clinical understanding of posture, biomechanics, and safe functional movement. Modern Pilates is adaptable, accessible, and suitable for all ages and levels of ability.
