Let's do the Splits (or give it a go!) in the Splits Lab.
Suitable for students who are curious about splits or looking
to deepen their confidence and technique in Hanumanasana (Splits). This workshop offers guidance for students wanting to explore splits in more depth than is usually possible in a regular class, using a strength-led and progressive approach.
We’ll begin by breaking down the key foundations for Hanumanasana, including hip stability, hamstring strength, and pelvic positioning. Alongside the physical practice, we’ll briefly explore the symbolism and philosophy behind Hanumanasana, offering context for the pose and a deeper understanding of its place within the practice. Students will have time to explore preparatory shapes and variations, with options to work towards deeper expressions of the pose.
