What is Sunday Assembly?
It's a joyful gathering where everyone’s welcome—no matter your background or beliefs.
We come together to listen to interesting and inspiring talks , sing along to uplifting songs , and meet a genuinely friendly bunch of people who love a good chat and a laugh.
It’s all about celebrating life and all the brilliant things Sheffield has to offer.
Curious? Come along, bring a friend, and see what it’s all about. You might just leave with a smile on your face and a song stuck in your head.
In May, we're joined by Ollie for their talk which had to be rescheduled in January. Ollie has been researching clowning for several years, exploring the synchronicities between play, connection, and audience interaction. They believe these insights can be applied to the collective creation of rituals.
Ollie focuses on fostering spaces where everyone can realise their own brilliance, understand their needs and then meet those needs as a collective.
Ollie's continuously evolving practice is rooted in the observation of a people and space, using this information they respond to the energy of a group accordingly. Their aim is to co-create a Courageous and ‘safe enough’ container where curious experiences and ceremonies can unfold.
