Shawano Young Eagles Rally - Free Airplane Rides for Youth

Area youth aged 8 to 17 will have the opportunity to take flight on Saturday, Aug 16, during a special event hosted by EAA Chapter 1710 at the Shawano Airport in Shawano, WI.

After their flight, each participant will receive a certificate recognizing them as an official Young Eagle. Their names will also be entered into the "World’s Largest Logbook," a permanent exhibit at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, WI.

The flight rally will take place on Saturday, Aug 16, with attendees asked to use the entrance and parking lot located at 248 Airport Rd. Flights are scheduled to run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Legal guardians must be present to sign permission slips.
