This class is an introduction to the Zentangle® Method of drawing.
Zentangle is a mediative drawing practice developed by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas.
In this session, we will go over the 8 steps of the Zentangle method and learn a few simple patterns to get you started on your Zentangle practice.
No drawing experience is necessary to participate. If you can write your name, you can create Zentangle art.
We will share how to use create unique art with materials you may already have — or stop by and pick up some from our reuse shop!
Let your lines tell a story. Let your scraps become art.
Zentangle is more than just doodling — it’s a mindful art practice that turns simple lines into beautiful, intricate designs. And the best part? You don’t need fancy supplies. With creative reuse, everything is an opportunity to make art.
