Join us for a fun, hands-on day of crafting for a cause! Help us create cat scratchers, toys, and beds for the adorable residents of Seattle Area Feline Rescue (SAFe Rescue) — no experience needed, just a willingness to jump in and lend a hand.
This is a drop-in, choose-your-own-adventure style event:
We'll have multiple simple stations where you can pitch in:
✨ Cardboard Cutting Station
Cut strips of recycled cardboard to build sturdy, cozy cat scratchers.
✨ Fabric Prep Station
Help cut fabric to size for cat toys and beds.
✨ Sewing Station
If you know how to sew (or want to learn!), help us stitch together cat beds and catnip toys.
✨ Gala Sign Painting Station
Help paint a colorful display piece for SAFe Rescue’s upcoming "Wizard of Paws" gala!
If you’d like to help even more, we’re gratefully accepting donations of:
Donations are totally optional but would make a huge difference!
All materials for crafting will be provided and all stations are beginner-friendly. Families are welcome — kids under 12 just need to stay with a supervising adult.
Come for an hour or stay the whole time — every little bit helps support the kitties waiting for their forever homes!
