Cut, paste, and socialize! There is a generous share table of collage source material and Collage-O-Rama will have scissors, cutting mats, and glue sticks available. You are also welcome to bring your own as well as any materials you'd like to share (if you bring bulky, heavy items like hardcover books, please take them with you after the event is over).
Your hosts for the day will be Kerry Maher and Diana Robbins from Northwest Collage Society.
RSVPs encouraged but not required.
About NWCS:
NWCS has been active since the mid-1980s! They organize collage retreats, two juried shows per year, free collage meetups in person and via Zoom, fun collage-by-mail activities, and an impressive speaker series. Membership is $40/year and renews in September.

About Collage-O-Rama:
Collage-O-Rama is a month-long celebration of the compulsion to cut and paste. During open hours, the public is welcome to drop in to make art and make friends. Collage materials and tools are provided. In addition, Collage-O-Rama hosts a number of exhibitions demonstrating just a small part of what is possible through collage. This year's event includes an exhibition of digital collage, a performance/installation of modular collage, and an artist residency focused on storytelling through locative collage.
It is organized by artist Andrea Lewicki, founder of Special Agent Collage Collective. The purpose of Collage-O-Rama is to provide a positive, participatory creative experience regardless of previous exposure to art education or access to supplies. 2025's instance is supported in part by Seattle's Department of Neighborhoods, whose contribution is matched by generous volunteer hours.
