Duwamish Longhouse Presents - Water is a Love Story with Sonic Weaver Whaia

Join us for a Matriarchal evening of healing & strength through sound.
Our special guest, a sonic weaver & indigenous activist Fay-yah is here for a short time from Australia to share her sound & healing with the people of the Coast Salish territory. Fay-Yah is a member of the global wisdom keepers, touring with an extensive and passionate journey of traditional ways of the Māori & aboriginal people of Australia.
We will also have special guests sharing spoken word, Raynell Morris of the Lummi Nation as well as Carolyn Christmas of Mi'kmaq Nation, wisdom from our strong women!
Light refreshments & Snacks will be shared.
All are welcome!
This is a free event, however we appreciate donations for our special guests journey.
