Family friendly event with Afro-Caribbean vibes - food, music, sports hall, arts & crafts and dance!🕺🏽
The venue also has a pool table and table football which can be used.
Schedule:
1-3pm Social with sports hall open 🏀⚽️ plus crafts, music, food etc.
3pm Afro-House Dance Workshop, with the amazing Munya Muchati! 🎶
4-5pm Social free-flow time again - bringing the community together to connect and have fun 💞
Dance workshop is suitable for all ages/levels - families can dance together!
Munya runs Collective Culture, he is a talented highly experienced dance teacher. He teaches at Street Funk and is involved in a range of other dance projects. His classes are full of energy and positivity, creating an uplifting atmosphere!

West African Jollof rice will be available from Adel’s Kitchen, and brownies from Yasmin’s Yummies. Free refreshments and fruit.
We will also be drawing raffle winners around 4:30pm - raffle tickets can be bought on the day, or from Hakuna Matata International shop in Newhaven. 50p each, or a strip for £2 (5 tickets).
We have prizes such as massages, life coaching sessions, dance classes, photography sessions, carpet cleaning, Komedia comedy club tickets and more!
We are also looking for extra prizes if you’re able to donate a voucher/gift - to help fundraise for our Ghana youth empowerment projects, many thanks! 💞
