Join us for this exciting new class series where our resident artists share their process, inspiration, and techniques- while guiding YOU through a hands-on project of your own. Learn something new and connect with the makers who call the Walk In Art Center home!

We'll start things off with the one and only Phyllis Gallagher and collage our way to a good time!! Her expressive approach to mixed media invites you to see everyday scraps in a whole new light. You'll explore the art of layering, juxtaposition, and intuitive composition as you build captivating images from paper, found materials, and personal ephemera. Beginner, or seasoned maker, Phyllis guides you through creative exercises that spark experimentation and encourage storytelling through texture, color and form. Expect laughter, surprises, and fresh perspective on the art of assemblage-every torn edge and thoughtful layer becomes part of a visual narrative uniquely your own.
