Nocino Amaro Workshop w/ Seeds & Salt

Join us at Pluck Farm on Saturday, June 21st 12:30-2:00pm for a Nocino Amaro- Italian walnut liqueur making workshop. Hosted by Pluck Farm and Erin Torgerson of Seeds & Salt https://www.seedsandsalt.com

Learn about the making of the Italian Amaro – Nocino, from tree to glass. We will learn about the Black Walnut tree, whose immature fruit is the main ingredient in Nocino. We will harvest some fruit on the property, and Erin will demonstrate the processing of the fruit, including the extraction of its flavor and how the amaro is prepared, along with its other culinary applications.

We will taste some Nocino syrup over vanilla ice cream and discuss the plans that Steel String Brewery has to utilize this unique ingredient. Come away with all the knowledge you need to make your own Nocino at home!
