Greetings, Illumineers! We hope you all had a wonderful summer.
League play never went away, but apparently our events ended without us realizing it. So here they are again! Also, after some discussion, we're going to be handling prizes a bit differently than before.
First up, while this event is only on Saturdays, there are TWO weekly league times. While anything is able to be played during the league, we're going forward with the following focus in mind (It's pretty much what it was before)
TUESDAYS 6pm-8pm -- Core format, and more competitive minded decks
SATURDAYS 12pm-5pm -- Infinity format, more casual, relaxed decks
Of course, league play is open to any formats if people bring decks for them. This is just how things seemed to be focused before, so people know what to expect when coming to a specific day.
And now for the change: SCORING is back, because it seems people like being able to accumulate points. Scoring itself will only have a minor change from what it was before, but in case you've forgotten:
1 pt for attending one or both events in a week
1 pt for playing a match of any format, OR
2 pts for playing a Fable format multiplayer match
1 point for winning a match of any format
Once we get the OP kit, we'll figure out how many of each promo card we'll be able to hand out every week based on scores earned by players. The exact info on this will depend on quantity of promo cards in the kit for league purposes.
For art pins, these will be handed out on a 4-week basis similar to how they were before. Again, this exact info on this will depend on the kit contents.
Other contents of the kit (lore counters, special items like storage boxes, etc.) will still likely be distributed as per the OP kit guidelines.
