1. Format: A condensed Round-robin followed by single elimination.
2. Schedule: First throws of Round Robin begin at High Noon. Allocate approximately 15 minutes per game.
Rules:
1. **Teams:** Each team consists of 2 players.
2. **Scoring:**
- 3 points for a cornhole (bag goes through the hole).
- 1 point for a bag that lands on the board.
- Cancel out points between teams (e.g., Team A scores 7 points, Team B scores 5 points, Team A gets 2 points for that round).
3. **Game Length:** First to 21 pts or highest score after 15min.
4. **Coin Toss:** Before the start of each game, a coin toss determines which team throws first.
5. **Foul Lines:** Will be marked.
6. **Distances:** Regulation- 27 feet between the front edges of the boards.
7. **Interference:** Players should not interfere with opponents' throws.
Tournament Schedule:
1. **Round-Robin Phase:**
- 4 Rounds to allow for a variety of matchups without taking a lot of time.
- 4 games in the round-robin phase.
- Games will be timed to ensure the round-robin phase doesn't extend too long.
- Award 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss.
2. **Elimination Phase:**
- Based on round-robin results, seed teams for single-elimination playoffs.
- Quarterfinals and semifinals are single-game elimination based on time constraints.
- Only the top two teams from the round-robin phase proceed to the cash prize rounds.
-Championship round is BEST OF 3 GAMES.
Entry Fee and Prize Distribution:
1. **Entry Fee:** $50 per team (2 players per team).
3. **Prize Distribution:** Cash prizes are awarded to the top two teams, while the remaining proceeds support your nonprofit.
- First place team cash payout at least $200!
- Second place team cash payout at least $100!
