Premiere Party: "Celebrating Nature: Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore"

Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore was founded in the early 1990s to support and promote the hard-fought conservation of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area established in 1978. The SMMNRA encompasses over 156,000 acres that stretch east to west from Griffith Park in Los Angeles County to Point Mugu State Park in Ventura County. With 46 miles of scenic coastline, 500 miles of trails, and a vast array of native flora and fauna and culturally significant sites, the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is one of the largest urban national parklands in the United States, offering endless inspiration for artists.

“Celebrating Nature: Paintings by Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore” will open with a premiere party on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Admission to the premiere is $5 for SPAM Members and $10 for non-members. The exhibition showcases 42 original paintings by members of Allied Artists, all available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will support conservation efforts in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
