We'll cover essential safety protocols, various medicine paths, and the ideal skills & space requirements for conducting sessions. We will explore the psychological, energetic and emotional qualities of what it means to hold space as a "healer", including the basics of client-provider boundaries, container & expectation setting, money-matters and provide insights into the challenges, responsibilities of leading with an open heart. If you have ever wondered, "is holding space as a psychedelic healer for me?", this workshop is for you. Join us to gain a comprehensive overview of this transformational work.
Our Amazing Panelists:
Marat Shpolynasky: Marat, born in Odessa in 1975 and later settling in the U.S., initially pursued traditional psychiatry but became disillusioned with its limitations. His journey led him to specialize in psychedelic-assisted therapy through training with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute of Colorado. Now a certified Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapist, Marat integrates these novel approaches at Hope Integrative Health, focusing on the root causes of mental illness rather than just symptoms. His latest venture, Journeywork Therapeutics, involves developing innovative mental health supplements to enhance psychedelic therapy and support integration. Marat lives in Valley Glen, CA, with his family, enjoying music festivals and homemade pizza.
Diana Little: Diana Little is a licensed Psychotherapist since 1996. Serving at Kaiser Permanente for 20 years, she helped countless people heal from their psychological distress. As a grateful survivor of that corporate overlord, she is finally able to practice in her own authentic way. She continues to include her clinical expertise by creating practical goals for her client's progress and success. Now, she is free to openly use her natural intuition, and much more. She integrates Buddhist and other spiritual philosophies, Tarot Card reading, and her knowledge of plant medicines. Healing the Mind, Body and Soul. See more here : DianaLittle.com
Mary Tobon: Mary Tobon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a private practice in Los Angeles, CA utilizing mindfulness based, nature informed, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapies. Mary is a graduate of USC, has experience in school social work, comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and felt called to furthering her education in more holistic approaches in 2023. Through her own recovery from substance abuse, eating disorders, codependency, and trauma, Mary sought out personal expansion by engaging with psychedelics as medicine. In addition to formal training with Psychedelics Today, the Center for Nature Informed Therapy, and the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy, Mary received informal mentorship in the world of psychedelics. Her mission is to support reciprocity between our species and the more than human world to benefit the collective.
