Central Coast, it’s time to show up in full force!
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, we’re welcoming home 85+ heroes who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam—and we need YOU to help give them a homecoming they’ll never forget.
📍 Location: Santa Maria Airport
⏰ Please arrive no later than 8:30 PM
In May 2025, over 1,000 people came together to welcome home our veterans in one of the most powerful moments the Central Coast has ever seen. Let’s do it again—bigger, louder, and prouder. Bring your flags, your signs, your cheers—and let’s line the airport with love, pride, and patriotism.

👨👩👧👦 This event is free, open to the public, and family-friendly!
Important Reminders:
* Arrive early—no later than 8:30 PM
* Event time may change slightly, so check our hotline or social media for updates
* When the plane lands, please note it takes about 45 minutes for all veterans to deplane. They will not come out of the security area until every veteran is off the plane.
* Don’t park in red zones, loading areas, or restricted spots (we don’t want anyone towed!)
* Enter through any airport door and head toward the restaurant area
* Please do not wear political flags or clothing—let’s keep this united and respectful
* Bring American flags, branch flags, or handmade signs to wave proudly
* A quick volunteer briefing will take place at 8:15 PM with Cheryl Tolan (Co-Founder of WHMH) and Jay Conner (2nd Vice Chairman of Honor Flight) to go over event flow
* Bring your energy and your voices—let’s make this a night they’ll never forget!
