The Witch as Worker is a discussion on the community contributions of pagan practice. From union laborer to healer to spiritual counsel, the witch is a working archetype that is always filling important roles in community. In this talk, Lauren Parker will give historical and cultural education on the importance of witch outside of solitary practice, the folk practice of the factory worker, the midwife, and the garden club member, and lead an exercise on filling the role of magical counsel in the lives of others.
Lauren Parker is the author of the book Spells for Success and is a visual artist and poet who teaches workshops on poetic spellcraft and ancestor work through poetry.
