Santa Barbara High School Community Archiving Days

The Santa Barbara Community Archives Project & Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association Present:
SBHS Community Archiving Days!

If you are an alumni of SBHS, or are a parent of an SBHS student/alumni, and would like to preserve photographs from those precious high school years, bring those photographs to SBHS Alumni Room on Friday, June 6 from 4-7pm & Saturday, June 7 from 1-5 pm. Your photographs will be scanned on site and returned to you.

Eligible content for this project:
• photographs which document your high school experience or your life during high school
• examples include:
▪ snapshots at a school dance
▪ high school friends spending time together off campus
▪ photos of your child participating in the high school band or athletic events

Additional Criteria:
• 1-10 individual photographic prints in total
• unframed, loose, and measuring 8.5”x11” or smaller
• must have been captured by you or a family member
• acceptable to share online

We will NOT accept:
• yearbooks
• school publications
• class pictures
• any copyrighted material such as posed portraits or yearbook headshots made by hired photographers
• NO AV
