Valley Arts & Lectures Presents: The Boat Not Taken Book Reading

Join us at the Community Center for a free Valley Arts and Lectures Series event on Sunday, June 22, at 2 pm. Joanna Choi Kalbus, author of The Boat Not Taken, will be reading and signing copies of her memoir.

Kalbus’s writing recounts her journey fleeing North Korea as a child, immigrating to the U.S., and navigating cultural challenges alongside her mother. A moving story of resilience, family, and the enduring bond between mother and daughter.
