Resilient Skies I launches San Diego Dance Theater’s newest annual repertory concert with an electrifying program of movement emotion and artistry. Featuring iconic works by Jean Isaacs and SDDT's Executive Artistic Director Terry Wilson this thrilling evening also unveils world premieres by the bold and visionary choreographers Sol de la Rosa and Matthew Armstrong. Resilient Skies I celebrates the power of dance to inspire transform and uplift—soaring beyond boundaries with passion and resilience.

Each work in Resilient Skies I brings a distinct voice and visual world to the stage. The broadness of the sky we all live under provides us with a sense of both vastness and enclosure. The sky gives us a feeling of timelessness with layered dynamics producing many different states of mind and states of being.
