Exhibit Opening: San Diego STEM Women

Experience the launch of San Diego STEM Women: Creativity and Curiosity at the opening event on June 5 from 6:00-8:00 PM - a dynamic exhibition honoring the visionary women who have shaped science, technology, engineering, and math in our region.

This exhibit celebrates the bold thinkers and barrier-breakers who have redefined what's possible - from early pioneers like Dr. Charlotte Baker, San Diego's first female physician, and horticulturist Kate Sessions, to trailblazers like Girl Tech founder Janese Swanson, and astronaut Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. It also features inspiring contemporary leaders like engineer Jasmine Sadler and science educator Khamphet Pease, whose work continues to empower young minds through creativity, curiosity, and community engagement.

Hors d'oeuvres included with registration. Beer and wine available for purchase.
