2025 Silent Retreat for Religious and Lay Women
Retreat Facilitator: Paula Gomez
Step away from the noise of daily life and into a sacred rhythm of prayer, reflection, and deep stillness. This silent retreat invites religious and lay women to dwell in God’s presence through the gifts of contemplative prayer. Participants will be guided through daily conferences, liturgies, and spacious periods for personal reflection. Silence will be observed throughout the retreat to deepen the inner listening and open the heart more fully to the Spirit’s movement.

Paula Gómez Victorica was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived in Massachusetts from 2001 until December 2024. She is a Certified Spiritual Director and trained giver of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. Paula is completing a Post-Master’s Certificate in Ignatian Spirituality at the Clough School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College, where she also teaches Biblical Spirituality through asynchronous online courses. For the past three years, she served as Director of the Faith Formation Program and Coordinator of the Hispanic Community at St. Ignatius Jesuit Parish. Since relocating to San Antonio, Paula has continued her ministry as a Ministry and Liturgy Coordinator at a local parish.
