Roll-Ups & Turkish Get-Ups Workshop

Step up your acro game with Roll-Ups and Turkish Get-Ups, with Ben & Cassandra! These moves are not just eye-catching, they’re a testament to strength, balance, and teamwork between base and the flyer. In this workshop you will learn the techniques and progressions to master these skills. Roll-ups and get-ups can be extremely physically demanding and we’ve designed the progressions and sequencing of this workshop to ensure that you will be able to get in lots of high quality reps.

*Suggested Pre-Reqs: Standing Side Star OR any entrance to standing foot-to-hand and 10 second extended L base foot-to-hand hold.

More about instructors Ben and Cassandra:
Ben and Cassandra co-created the 'Explaining Acro' YouTube channel to make acro more accessible to the world. Ben’s acro journey began in 2011 with the University of Maryland Gymkana Troupe, where he trained and performed for four years. Since then, he has taught acrobatics across the US and performed internationally. Cassandra, with a background in competitive gymnastics and seven years of coaching experience, embraced acro when she met Ben in 2019 and began teaching in 2021. Together they have studied under renowned sports acro coaches such as Jack Atherton and Arthur Davis.
