An Austen Affair Ball - A Weekend Regency Event

Let's transport you back to the elegant world of Jane Austen's novels. Join us for a weekend of music, dancing, and romance straight out of the Regency era.

📍 Ladu Grand Hall | ⏰ 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM

• Private screening of the 2005 Pride & Prejudice
• Light refreshments included
• Guests receive a Book Bound swag bag with bookish goodies

• Explore downtown Salt Lake City and search for five hidden artifacts
• Share your discoveries on social media for a chance to win a free ticket to a future event
• Can be completed at any time throughout the weekend

📍 Utah State Capitol Grounds | ⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Stroll in Regency attire through the Capitol grounds
• Participate in various Regency-era activities such as cross-stitching, pianoforte playing, Regency trivia, and posture training
• A chance to demonstrate your skills in polite society

📍 Utah State Capitol | ⏰ 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Unique Regency Identities and Backstories for each guest, including a scandal for you to gossip about during the Ball! Don't forget... Lady Book Bound is always listening.
• Formal Regency ball with group dances taught before and during the event
• Guests are announced into society by their Regency identity
• Custom dance cards provided for dance partners
• Crepe Station, Charcuterie Boards, and Italian Soda Station provided
• Live opera performance
• Whist card tables for Regency-era gaming
• Crowning of the "Diamond of the Season"

• Book fair featuring authors, vendors, and bookish merchandise
• First hour exclusive to Austen Affair attendees, then open to the public

• Attendees encouraged to support local vendors and authors
• Exclusive FREE item for attendees at the Book Bound booth
