At this workshop, participants will learn how to act and intervene in a mental health crisis for themselves or community members, and best practices in responding to first responders (MCOT, EMS, police).
Participants will learn de-escalation techniques, self-regulation skills, and learn ways to intervene when a loved one is in a mental health crisis.
This event is free to attend but RSVP is required.
This is a beginner course. Sign ups for Personalized Crisis Response Plans is ticketed separately. Attendees can sign up for both events.
