American Style Fiddling with Kate MacLeod & Bronwen Beecher

Kate MacLeod and Bronwen Beecher will be teaching a workshop for fiddler players and violinists who want to know more about fiddle playing.
For this second workshop in a series of three, the focus will be on American fiddle styles including Old-Time and Bluegrass. During the class there will be some demonstration by the instructors, followed by learning a fiddle tune or two, focusing on stylistic expression. Acoustic guitarists are encouraged to attend, as Kate MacLeod is also an award-winning guitar player and will demonstrate guitar skills used in the accompaniment of fiddle tunes.
