🌱 Planting for Spring at Tumbly Hill
Come and help us plant daffodils, crocuses and other spring bulbs in the Tumbly Hill garden this October. With your help, the garden will burst into colour when spring arrives, to create a welcoming community space for everyone to enjoy.
We also hope this planting day will spark interest in creating a new Gardening Group at Tumbly Hill. The group would meet regularly to help care for the garden, enjoy time outdoors, and support our plans to develop it into a sensory enrichment space – especially valuable for people living with dementia and for neurodivergent members of our community.
🌸 What to expect
* A relaxed morning outdoors - open to all ages.
* No gardening experience needed, just a willingness to join in.
* A chance to connect with others, learn about plants, and enjoy working in harmony with nature.
* Refreshments and cake after the planting.
* An opportunity to find out more and register your interest in the Gardening Group.
All tools, bulbs and ample cake provided!
This event is being run in partnership with Wild About Kingsbridge, a local CIC led by Dan Stathers, who helps manage our Tumbly Hill garden.
🌸 We'd love to get more people together to help manage and shape this lovely space, not just for our members at Tumbly Hill, but also the wider community of Kingsbridge 🌸
