About the event

Musketry Salute From Portland Point

The soldiers of DeLancey’s Brigade - 18th-century military re-enactors portraying a Provincial or Loyalist regiment - will fire a welcoming musket volley from Place Fort La Tour to greet the spring fleet arriving from the evacuation of New York on this day in 1783 and to kick off our Loyalist Day festivities. Place Fort La Tour will be open to visitors, free of charge, from 10 am - 11 am
