Join us for a rare and enriching afternoon of stillness, breath, and inner exploration guided by Lama Geshe YongDong, a revered Tibetan Master in the ancient Yungdrung Bön tradition—the oldest spiritual tradition of Tibet, predating Buddhism by thousands of years.
This 3-hour in-person workshop offers a direct experience of authentic Tibetan meditation and breathwork practices, designed to calm the nervous system, awaken awareness, and support emotional balance and mental clarity. Through gentle and accessible teachings, Geshe-la will lead participants in foundational methods that help dissolve stress, clear energetic blockages, and reconnect you with your natural state of calm.

📖 About Lama Geshe YongDong
Lama Geshe YongDong Losar (Geshe-la) is a highly respected Tibetan Bön lama, meditation teacher, and author. Born in Tibet in 1969, he entered Nangzhig Bönpo Monastery—the largest Bön monastery in Tibet—at the age of 13. After more than a decade of intense study, he earned the Geshe degree, the highest academic title in the Bön tradition (equivalent to a PhD).
In 1992, Geshe-la undertook a perilous journey by foot across the Himalayas to Nepal, where he continued his studies in both Nepal and India. In 2000, he moved to Courtenay, British Columbia, where he founded Sherab Chamma Ling, the first Tibetan Bön Buddhist Centre in Canada. He now teaches internationally and has established learning centers across several countries.
Geshe-la is also the author of Calm Breath, Calm Mind, published by Wisdom Publications, where he shares many of the breath and awareness practices taught in this workshop. His teachings are a beautiful balance of scholarly depth, heartfelt compassion, and practical tools for modern living.
