Join us as we learn what's Behind the Curtain: A One-Day Theatre Adventure at B Street! Ever wondered what really happens behind the scenes at a professional theatre? Now’s your chance to find out!

Join us for "Behind the Curtain at B Street Theatre"—a one-day, hands-on experience where you’ll get an exclusive all-access pass to The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre.

What’s in store?

• A full backstage tour of our beautiful facility.
• A peek into the magic of B Street Summer Camp in action
• Live technical work unfolding across our multiple stages
• A rare look into the rehearsal process for our upcoming Mainstage production of DRACULA. After your behind-the-scenes adventure, stick around and enjoy lunch at one of our neighboring favorites—Café Bernardo or Tea Bar & Fusion Café.

Parking: The Sutter Community Garage located in the alley at 2701 N Street. The entrance to the garage is located on 28th between Capitol Avenue and N Street. When entering the garage, you receive a printed ticket. When leaving the garage, you will insert your ticket, be prompted to pay via debit or credit card and be given a receipt. There is a 6-car white zone directly in front of the theatre located on Capitol Avenue between 27th and 28th Street. If you need to drop off or pick up a patron, please use this area.

The Renaissance Society of Sacramento provides opportunities for participatory lifelong learning and community engagement for older adults. Our learning opportunities include programs on widely varied subjects, from serious to amusing, proposed and presented by our members.

We have a wide variety of programs, five days a week. For the Fall 2025 semester, programs on Zoom will be offered Mondays through Thursdays. Programs will be on the Sac State campus on Fridays; some wll be in-person only, while others will be a combination of in-person and Zoom.
