This summer, we're excited to enhance our in between seasons event program by shifting from three evening meetings to a series of planned activities centered around various photographic themes and experiences.
Current members and prospective new members are welcome to join these events, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. It's an excellent informal way for new members to get acquainted with the Dunchurch Photographic Society, share experiences from the events, and pick up photography tips.
Bring your camera, drone, or phone as appropriate, and join us at the designated time and venue to kick off the activities.
An evening at the Stamford Hall Fireworks Championships is an exciting and memorable experience. Here's what you can expect:
Spectacular Firework Displays
The event features four incredible firework displays. Three of the UK's top firework companies compete against each other, each presenting a 10-minute display choreographed to music. The night concludes with a breathtaking finale display.
Interactive Voting
After watching the displays, the audience gets to vote for their favorite performance using their mobile phones. This interactive element adds an extra layer of excitement as you help decide the winner of the Fireworks Champions title.
Pre-Show Entertainment
Before the main event, there's plenty to keep you entertained. Enjoy pre-show activities, including food and drink stalls, picnic spaces. It's a great way to relax and enjoy the atmosphere before the fireworks begin.
Drone Show
In addition to the fireworks, there's a spectacular drone show that lights up the sky with intricate patterns and designs. This modern twist adds a unique element to the traditional fireworks display.
Accessibility
Stamford Hall ensures that the event is accessible to everyone. There are facilities for disabled visitors, including accessible paths and viewing areas.
Weather, Opening Hours and admission fee
The weather at Stamford Hall can be quite variable, so it's a good idea to check the forecast before your visit.
The event gates open at 4:00 PM, with the final entry at 7:30 PM. The drone show starts at 8:45 PM, followed by the firework displays at 9:00 PM. The event concludes around 10:30 PM.
Admission £30 online. The event usually sells out before the day so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Attendees are responsible for their own entry fees and are encouraged to car share where possible
