Gliders and Tanks

This summer, we're excited to enhance our in between seasons event program by shifting from three evening meetings to a series of planned activities centered around various photographic themes and experiences.

Current members and prospective new members are welcome to join these events, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. It's an excellent informal way for new members to get acquainted with the Dunchurch Photographic Society, share experiences from the events, and pick up photography tips.

Bring your camera, drone, or phone as appropriate, and join us at the designated time and venue to kick off the activities.

This event is a double header where we start off at the Glider centre for an opportunity to go air side and photograph the tow aircraft and gliders.

When we are ready we head will then transfer over to the Armourgeddon Military Museum Southfields Farm, Husbands Bosworth LE17 6NW where there will be an opportunity to photograph the exhibits as well as the tanks being taken out for fun rides. We have up to 8 free tickets if we share some of our images with Armageddon. We will operate a entry cost share system should we have more than 8 attendees. I.e. everyone pays a portion of the additional ticket costs to make it fair for all.
