Ogden Camera Club June Meeting - Image Critiquing & Competing

You’ve taken hundreds—maybe thousands—of photos over the years. A few of them you’re really proud of. But which ones are truly competition-worthy? What makes one photo stand out above the rest? And how are images actually judged?

Whether you’re a club member chasing the prestigious Image of the Year title, or someone who simply wants their photos to make people say “WOW!” like fireworks on the 4th of July, this meeting is for you.

Join us as we welcome Rusty Session—professional photographer and seasoned judge for both statewide and national competitions. Rusty will break down what separates a great photo from a true competition standout, and he’ll share key tips on how to evaluate and judge images like a pro—an essential skill for anyone looking to grow as a photographer.

We’ll kick off with results from recent club competitions and share upcoming photo opportunities and ideas. It’s the perfect lead-in to learning how to see (and shoot) with a more creative and intentional eye.
