Slide Into Slow – A Summer Workshop for Beginners

The summer is the perfect time to explore something new and take it slow. So what do you do? You learn Slow Bal!

Slow Bal (short for Slow Balboa) is a swing dance to those dreamy, slower jazz tunes we all love. It’s smooth, expressive, and perfect for warm summer days when you want to move, but not rush.

In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the basics of Slow Bal and some of its signature moves. We’ll also take time to explore how you can add your own creativity and flavour into the dance—because that’s what we love about slow: there’s room to play.

Let’s dive into slow together.

🕐 Duration: 2 hours
📅31 July, 1930 - 2130
💶Cost: 18 euro
👥 Teachers: Deirdre & Joost (from Slowfeet Studio, international Slow Bal teachers)
📶 Level: No Slow Bal experience needed, but you should have some partner dance background.
🔄 Roles: We dance in fixed roles. Register as lead, follow, or switch if you don’t mind.
