Istanbul: The Music of the City
Met Çağlar Fidan (zang & qanun), Erhan Bayram (Istanbul kemençe) en Nikos Papageorgiou (tanbur & lavta).
Het trio brengt de vergeten melodieën van het oude Istanbul opnieuw tot leven – muziek die ooit klonk in koffiehuizen, taveernes en aan de oevers van de Bosporus. Hun spel is een ode aan de rijke culturele erfenis van de stad, waar Turkse en Griekse tradities elkaar ontmoeten en geschiedenis en heden samenvloeien. Verwacht een betoverende avond vol nostalgie, virtuositeit en emotie.
