Houtklank - Wood Sound by DUO Sonja Gruijs & Hilde de Wolf

Op replica’s van authentieke historische instrumenten speelt het DUO Sonja Gruijs & Hilde de Wolf werken van o.a. Japanse, Franse en Nederlandse componisten. Prachtige melodieën van Giovanni da Firenze, verfijnde klanken van Orlando di Lasso, en rijkelijk versierde muziek van Philidor zullen klinken. Daarnaast is spannende twintigste eeuwse muziek te horen van de Nederlandse componist Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk en van de Japanner Ryohei Hirose.

Een muzikale reis door de tijd met de prachtige houtklank van twee blokfluiten!

On replicas of authentic historical instruments, the DUO Sonja Gruijs & Hilde de Wolf will perform works by Japanese, French, and Dutch composers, among others. Beautiful melodies by Giovanni da Firenze, the refined tones of Orlando di Lasso, and richly ornamented music by Philidor will be heard. Exciting twentieth-century music by Dutch composer Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk and Japanese composer Ryohei Hirose will also be performed.
A musical journey through time with the beautiful woody sound of two recorders!
