Barcelona Gipsy BalKan Orchestra is one of those musical ensembles whose name alone reveals a lot, yet there's still so much more they have to offer. Their blend of southern temperament, Romani culture, klezmer, and Balkan music dissolves imagined borders between genres, cultures, and traditions.

Due to a passionate journey of twelve years, Barcelona Gipsy BalKan Orchestra (BGKO) has established itself as an undisputed reference in the global Balkan music scene. The group itself blend the different artistic influences of its members, enriched and shaped by Barcelona’s vibrant musical scene: from Latin American to traditional Catalan, Greek, Italian, Russian and Middle Eastern songs to the vital vibes of jazz manouche and rockabilly. The result is a unique sound that goes straight to the heart.

In timeless fashion, the band has forged its path with the power of live performances, carrying with it the essence of seven interwoven stories from various cultures and ways of life. In their seventh studio album, alongside their artistic commitment to traditional music, BGKO ventures into the vibrant journey of original compositions, custom-crafted lyrics, and melodies that have waited patiently for their day to be shared.
