Foster Information Session - Roswell

When you foster for Atlanta Humane, we take care of all vet care, medicine, food, and supplies for your foster pet and we offer a community of fellow foster parents and volunteers for support. You simply bring the most important ingredient: a safe, loving home where animals can thrive.

Atlanta Humane Society fosters care for a variety of animals including young kittens and puppies pets recovering from illness or injury, and shelter-stressed animals who just need a calm home to decompress. You can also foster adult cats and dogs as a Virtual Adoption Ambassador by helping promote them online or support families in crisis by temporarily housing their pets until they can be reunited. Lastly, there’s an opportunity to foster service dogs in training through a partnership with Dogs for Better Lives to help prepare them for roles assisting individuals with PTSD, autism, or vision impairments.
