🧘♀️ We do have yoga mats already provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own!
🔮 Various ceremonial & self care tools are available to work with at your leisure during the event.
💦 Water fountain and bathroom are right inside/outside the studio space!
🌈 Absolutely ALL people are welcome here (16+, barring the occasional family events)— we welcome you in love and care, and will kindly hold you to the same standard. 🙏
📆 Join us each Sunday from 11am-1pm at Sylvester Powell Jr Community Center in the aerobics room (follow the signs!) to have the opportunity to wiggle, reflect, breathe, release, manifest, laugh, cry, party, meditate, give, receive, and share in compassionate communication and ecstatic dance.
“What can I expect on my first day?”
🧘♀️ We begin sitting in a circle at 11am to check in, often centering ourselves as a group with intention setting and sound bathing. From there, we warm up and ease into free-flow movement/ecstatic dance.
🎶 The playlists we dance to are designed from scratch each week, inviting you on a journey through an energetic wave that mimics the stillness, rise, and fall that life’s patterns show us daily.
💕 Once our movement is complete, we find our way back to a sitting circle, deepen our healing by engaging in 20-30min of breathwork, and mindfully close our time together with a finals check-in.
This is a ceremony; a sacred gathering to care for oneself and others in a safe and loving container, utilizing the magic of somatic healing. 🕺🏻 🪩 🧘♀️ 🙏
“What is Ecstatic Dance?”
🪩 Ecstatic Dance is a somatic healing tool to connect with the rhythms we find throughout nature (Flow, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness).
