Series: Networking Like a Natural

Networking has become a critical skill for finding job opportunities, building a client base, and establishing professional relationships. Yet, networking can be really intimidating and difficult! How much should you say? What should you lead with? How can you represent who you are, what you do, and why you do it without sounding just like everyone else? Do you really have to talk about the weather that much?

This 4-session series will guide you through how to represent yourself well and forge meaningful connections when networking with others. Our lessons and communication strategies will help you:

• Craft an elevator pitch that is not only effective, but that sounds like YOU
• Navigate different conversations and speak with people in a variety of fields
• Approach networking with comfort and confidence
• Move from small talk to lasting relationships
• Create plans to follow up and deepen relationships after initial meetings

Through instruction, practice, and feedback, you’ll hone your voice and leave ready to represent yourself in any professional situation.

Sessions 1 and 2 (11/12 and 11/19) will provide instruction on elevator pitches and all things networking. Session 3 (12/3) will be a hands-on practice workshop. Session 4 (12/10) will be an actual networking event with a variety of professionals on-hand for you to try out all of the new techniques you’ve learned and start building your network!

Admission includes 25% off individual coaching sessions and session packages scheduled during the time of the series and up to one month past the final session (12/10).
