Orin Swift was founded by the famed winemaker, Dave Phinney, who has never approached winemaking in a traditional manner. His first big hit changed the world’s perspective towards California Red Blends and he continues to innovate, exciting his loyal fans and enticing new ones. This seminar will share with you the story of Orin Swift’s inception and taste you through many of the blends and single varietal wines that led Wine Spectator to label Dave Phinney “A Creative Force”. From Zinfandel to Grenache, Syrah to Petite Sirah, each of the wines (and labels) tell a story of a true artist who masterfully creates wines unlike any other.
