Lay the foundations for a lifetime of strong social skills with your puppy by enrolling in our Puppy Socialization course!
This class will help you lay the ground work for strong social skills and neutrality in public spaces. Though this class will cover dog-dog social, the curriculum will extend to building healthy social interactions with humans and common distractions present in public spaces. Through this course, dog owners will learn how to balance neutrality with interaction, to create a dog that maintains a calm, healthy mind set in the presence of humans and dogs, paving the way for confident interactions.
By taking this class, you will create a strong foundation in neutrality and safe exposure to strangers and other dogs!
Puppy Training Class Requirements:
• Must be at least 9 weeks old by the first class.
• Must have been living with you for at least 14 days and show no signs of illness.
• The first distemper-parvo vaccine must have been administered at least 14 days prior to attending class.
• Distemper-parvo boosters must be current and continued every 3-4 weeks until the puppy is at least 16 weeks old.
• Bordetella/kennel cough vaccine must be given at least 3 days before attending.
• Rabies vaccination is required by 16 weeks of age, but not needed to start class.
