Monthly Empowerment with Gracious Dance

This healing movement class is designed to support survivors of trauma through trauma informed dance, yoga, and peer support. This class aims to connect survivors and be a safe space to explore healing through movement. Anyone, especially survivors of trauma, can benefit from building positive connections or reconnections to the body, exploring healthy coping strategies, and giving space for emotional expression - whether through words or through movement. Together we will create an environment that is accessible, inclusive, provides safety, encouragement, and healing for survivors and supporters in all walks of life.

This is a donation based class, there is NO obligation to pay, and we encourage participants to register, only to reserve their spot. Our Empowerment group is open to survivors, supporters, or anyone curious about healing through movement.

“Rebecca is a survivor of interpersonal violence herself and certified in Trauma Informed Yoga through Porchlight Wellness. She is currently working towards her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has taken independent courses on Yoga Therapy and Somatic Movement.”
